Here’s our latest list of recommendations from The dFm’s CEO Jesse Lee: his current book for traveling, recently watched Netflix doc and a podcast listen for your commute to work.

BOOK: “On Managing Yourself” What’s more important than learning how to truly manage yourself? This book is a great read for those who appreciate historical examples and references that are still relevant in today’s world.

NETFLIX FLICK: “Knock Down the House” Whether you agree with these women’s political views or not, this is a must-watch. Everyone knows a little bit about AOC, but “Knock Down The House” chronicles several other women who fight for their families and communities. Ultimately only one wins out, but there are some valuable lessons to be learned.

PODCAST: “Eugene Wei Explains Why We’re All ‘Status Monkeys’ on Social Media” Peter Kafka sits down with Eugene Wei to discuss why/how ‘status’ means so much to everyone, particularly younger millennials and Gen Z. There are interesting anecdotes on whether it’s good or bad, and some insight as to why/how certain media and platforms can benefit from these behaviors.
