The Edition is the New Addition

Welcome to Hollywood, baby.

It’s official, there’s a new addition coming to the plethora of hotels in West Hollywood. The Edition hotel is planning on opening up it’s doors in LA in 2018.

You may have already seen the large structure on Sunset Boulevard and Doheny Drive in Los Angeles which will eventually be 190 rooms and 20 condos according to developer, Witkoff and its partner, New Valley LLC. The hotel rooms will be operated by Marriott.

A rendering depicting the minimalist landscape surrounded by lush greenery is designed by architect Jon Pawson and hotelier Ian Schrager, credited as the don of the modern boutique hotel.

This area of West Hollywood is surely becoming a “Hotel Row” and the addition of The Edition is bound to bring a new slew of restaurants, buzz and programming.

2018 has a lot in store for The Edition, but they’re wrapping up 2017 with blow out festivities at their Miami location. Australian DJ, Thomas Jack will headline their NYE party at Basement Miami along with Dude Skywalker. Holding down Basement Bowl (yes, they have a bowling alley) is legendary DJ, Just Blaze and resident DJ, Silent Addy.

We heard it’s one of Miami’s most “Instagrammable” spots, probably because of the ice skating rink in sunny Florida. Whether you’re looking to dance into 2018 with some tropical house hits by Thomas Jack or looking to party and hang with friends at Just Blaze’s hip hop set The Edition is killing it with their NYE line up.
