We love  the”Humble” music video and we’re pretty sure you do too. It’s a sharp cutting, conceptual work on art that comments on religion, personal growth, race, and the detriment of our society’s growing superficiality.

“Humble” is far from the first of Kendrick’s visual feats. One man who is the unspoken hero of the brilliance that is Kendrick Lamar is his manager Dave Free. Dave, aka Dave Friley is a music director, Kendrick’s manager, and the President of Top Dawg Entertainment. Together, Kendrick and Dave make up The Little Homies when they work on music videos together.

The Little Homies began a decade before Kendrick released his debut album, Section.80 in 2011. The pair met at  age 16 when they bonded over their love of hip-hop. Since then, together they have built an empire. Besides Kendrick’s groundbreaking careers and the fleet of amazing music video they’ve directed, TDE discovered and continues to mold artists like SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
