Expelling an aura that defines a Southern California energy, singer-songwriter Cailin Russo just released her newest project, “Fade”.  Filmed through a lens of pure nostalgia in a small town in Idyllwild, the track reflects the truth and honesty that carries within the pain of a deteriorating connection. 

Cailin states, ” It’s so sad to realize you’re in a relationship with someone who knows you’re hurting, but won’t help change the situation…The song comes from that feeling where you almost reach the bottom and you have nothing to do but accept it, own it and let it run its course.”

Co-directed with Ganna Bogdan, who also helped with the creative on her previous project “Declaration”,  Fade pairs a starking percussion with pitching harmonies, and rhythmic guitar progressions.  With the help of Nick Zinner and Chris Coady of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the strings, the track transcends the beauty and soul of Cailin’s emotional transition.
