Walls by Brad Holdgrafer

WORDS BY: SARAH HURLEY

Our friend Brad Holdgrafer—owner of Formerly Yes—put out a children’s book called Walls. Coupled with charming illustrations from Jay CoverWalls takes a Dr. Seuss-esque approach to offering an important message that seems to have gotten lost amid the dismal political climate.

Here’s what Brad has to say about his new book:

“Politics has divided people not just in the U.S., but all across the world. Some of the conversations about how to handle Syrian refugees and more specifically the U.S./Mexico border are starting to sound like we’ve forgotten some values that we are taught as children. “Walls” isn’t necessarily an anti Trump or anti right wing book, its goal is to simply just remind people about little things, like compassion and understanding in a form that even the most childish politicians can understand.”
