Italiano Marta Pozzan’s Guide to Los Angeles
Model Marta Pozzan, who has brought her roots from Italy and now resides in Los Angeles, takes us through some of her favorite locations pocketed under the city of sunshine and waltzing palm trees.
COCKTAIL SPOT: La Poubelle It’s probably one of the most iconic French bars in Los Angeles where, I promise you, every time you go you’ll meet the coolest up-and-coming artists and they’ll be beyond friendly. I used to live in Beachwood and every time I pass by it nice memories come up and I’m reminded that I should go there more often!
DINNER: La Buca I normally don’t eat Italian food unless I’m in Italy lol (I grew up there!) but there’s something so special about this place that it makes me miss their food when I haven’t been in a while. Their cacio pepe is so good and they have the best ricotta cheese in town!
NEW SPOT: Margot It just opened this year, their kickoff party was so much fun. It’s the new coolest restaurant in the Culver City area. My two fave things about Margot: the cocktail list and the churros! They are phenomenal.
RETAIL: Recess Pop-Up at Fred Segal Finding good vintage items has always been a thing for me and when I heard about the vision behind Recess’s pop-up at Fred Segal, I was immediately sold. It’s a pop-up brand that just launched last week and their theme for the month of April is ’90s New York so it’s staged to look like a live-in loft. It’s fully activated with boardgames, magazines and amazing Instagram shots.
BAR TO DANCE AT: Harriet’s It’s the rooftop bar at The Jeremy Hotel. Last time I was there was for a cast and crew meeting for a feature film I shot. So I was in a particularly good mood, meeting all of these cool talents, but also the vibe is super nice — very chic.
